Citroën 11BL 1949
The car was registered in 1949, but the wheels and the bonnet are from a pre-war model. After the war, all the cars were black, and a grey and dark blue colour (both not very sexy) were again available after 1952.
The 11BL was the most popular of the "Traction Avant" models introduced in 1934 and featuring front wheel drive and a body without chassis (arc-welded monocoque) which were technical breakthroughs at the time.
