Armstrong Siddeley was a British manufacturer of (amongst others) luxury cars. It was founded in 1919 (as a result of a merger with Siddeley-Deasy) and had its headquarters in Coventry, England. As seems to be common in the business world the company was taken over in 1935 by Hawker (forming Hawker Siddeley). However, in 1960 the company stopped producing cars and the aeroplane business was merged with Bristol Aero Engines (forming Bristol Siddeley).
