Riley was a manufacturer of motorcars and bicycles. It was founded in 1890 and had its headquarters in Coventry, England. It became of the Nuffield Organisation (Morris) in 1938 and subsequently merged into British Leyland. Currently (2009), the trademark is owned by BMW.
